Les Jonquilles Booking Conditions

Please read these conditions carefully as they are the terms of your contract with us.

Agreed bookings will not be confirmed until full deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost has been received. Dates enquired of will only be held open for seven days pending receipt of deposit. All prices are quoted in sterling and cheques should be made payable to K. P. Smith.

The full balance, including breakage deposit (see below) is due eight weeks prior to the date of arrival.

Cancellations
Once a booking has been confirmed you are contracted to pay the full balance due as described above. If you wish to cancel the holiday we will attempt to re-let the accommodation and at our discretion, refund all or part of the deposit paid. You must appreciate that the shorter the notice, the less likely we will be able to re-let the accommodation. You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance which covers any financial loss resulting from unavoidable cancellation.

Accommodation
The gite is let from 2 pm on the date of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the date of departure. This allows us time to prepare for each arrival. You are expected to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy state and any breakages/equipment failure must be brought to our attention at the time. An additional breakage deposit of £100.00 is charged on each booking and is retained to cover damage/loss or unreasonable cleaning requirements. We reserve the right to make reasonable deductions when appropriate. The deposit (whole or part) will be returned within 14 days of the date of departure, to your address with explanation as necessary. Accomodation will only be provided for those guests named on the booking form and we reserve the right to exclude any other persons. Clean bedding is provided on a weekly basis but we do not provide towels, soaps or detergents etc. We provide a welcome pack of some essentials for your arrival.
You are asked not to smoke inside the gite and we thank you for your co-operation in this.
The holiday price is charged for the accommodation provided and no refunds will be considered in respect of any ancillary sports equipment temporarily unavailable. We reserve the right to refuse or supervise the use of such equipment.
We will not be liable for any failure of electricity, gas or water supplies to the gite; nor in regard of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the accommodation or grounds; nor any other matters beyond the reasonable control of ourselves; nor for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by any guest should the property be destroyed or substantially damaged prior to the rental period, other than the amount already paid by you in respect of the rental. Under no circumstances shall our liability to you exceed the amount paid to us by you for the rental period.
The use of the accommodation, grounds, equipment or other amenities is entirely at your risk and we accept no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to guests personally, their belongings or vehicles. You are reminded to bring form E111 (healthcare cover) with you.
